Headquartered in Columbia, the South Carolina Hospital Association is a private, not-for-profit organizations made up of some 100-member hospitals and health systems and about 900 individual members associated with its institutional members.

South Carolina Department of Education
Since the beginning of the VSI Project in 2004, the SC Department of Education has been a leading partner, providing grant funding to help sustain the program. Along with the goals of the SCHA, the Department of Education also strives to provide South Carolina students with accurate information on careers in the hospital industry and with opportunities for job shadowing.
